Stitchmas Day 5!

I LOVE Christmas Movies. Last year it was my goal to watch one Christmas Movie every day of December, as my own little countdown celebration. I wrote a blog post last Stitchmas with some movie recommendations, and you can read that here if you want.

If I had to narrow down all the holiday movies I've watched and choose one holy grail, desert island, most favorite Christmas Movie, it would have to be The Muppet Christmas Carol.

Is it cheesy? Yes. Is it childish? Yes. Do I care? Heck no! This movie not only has the Muppets, a childhood and all time favorite of mine, it also has Michael Caine, a great Soundtrack, and the classic Charles Dickens tale .

It stars Michael Caine as Ebeneezer Scrooge, the ornery curmudgeon we all love to hate, and he is giving 110% to this role! Plus, it's the Muppets, who doesn't love the Muppets? You've got Kermit as Bob Cratchit, Miss Piggy as his wife, and The Great Gonzo as Charles Dickens himself.

I've probably seen this movie more than any other Christmas movie. It's nostalgic for me because I remember watching it when I was a kid with all my cousins, and apparently my husband James had the same experience as I did, and we both share the childhood nostalgia for this movie. If you haven't seen it, treat yourself to a bit of silly fun and watch it, then thank me later.
