The Tenth Day of Christmas

On the Tenth Day of Stitchmas, I will bring you 3 suggestions for gift giving to the knitter in your life.

  1. Yarn from your favorite Indy Dyer. It might be challenging to get it here in time, so gift certificates are always a great choice. Here are some of my favorites:

Lady Dye Yarns. Founded by Diana Ivey, she has tons of clubs and collaborations that make great gifts. Her dyes are gorgeous. (Pictured is my Rattlesnake Sweater where the sky blue and purple are her works and they could not have been more perfect.)

Casual Fashion Queen. I really love the themes that she dyes (heavy on my other favorite Halloween/movie references). I don't think that she has gift certificates, but she is very timely in fulfillment. Pictured below is a set I bought to make a second Sorrel Sweater (a class you can take with me starting Dec. 29).

HauteKnitYarn. Gorgeous yarns and tons to choose from with regular restocks. My favorite is when she lets her daughter, Eloise, design colorways. She nailed my Holiday plans with today's Instagram post.

2. These stitch markers are my favorite indulgence of the year, cocoknits Maker's Keep Accessories - Flight of Stitch Markers. I bought mine from a really cute LYS on San Diego, Apricot Yarn & Supply. (Always check your LYS first, but if you can't find them then Jimmy Beans has them.)

3. Bags and pouches. Knitter's can never have enough of these handy helpers. Kaity and Karin have made some very cute selections. They can be purchased in our online boutique or in person in the Studio. (Also, shop online and pick up for free.)

I hope these suggestions help!

With love,

Anne
