Today, the 19th day of Stitchmas, I want to share my most favorite holiday treat. It is one of two recipes that my husband told me I had to marry him before he would share. We call them butterhorns and they are a famous recipe from his grandmother. It turns out that they are one of those classic recipes that has been around for a long time, and, if I had been clever enough to Google, I could have added to my recipe collection before the wedding.
These delicious morsels are a little crescent roll made with simple ingredients: butter, flour, and cottage cheese. My husband made them for a potluck just last week. When he couldn't find his grandmother's recipe card, he googled this recipe.
I hope that you enjoy them as much as we do.
With love,
Anne
