This fast and fun hat is knit from the bottom up, starting with a tubular cast-on, and features a textural slip-rib pattern. Top it with a pompom and you have yourself a stylish accessory for cooler weather.
 
Yarn weight: Bulky
The yellow hat was knit with a yarn called Pop! Jr by The Yarnery. The white hat in the last photo was knit with Berroco Ultra Alpaca Chunky, another nice option. The 125 yards includes the yardage used by the pom-pom.
 
Needle size:
US 10½ - 6.5 mm
US 9 - 5.5 mm

14 stitches = 4 inches in Slip Rib Pattern
