During the Winter and early Spring, there is a weather phenomenon that occurs in the Central Valley of California called the “Tules.” It is a fog so thick that schools in the rural areas are closed for safety. The damp, chilly air flows down the nearby slopes and blankets the earth.
This cowl features a simple cable that flows down from ribbed edge to ribbed edge. Like the Tule fog, it is extra deep. The cable pattern is easy and quick to memorize; and it drapes your neck in comfort.
Skills Required: You know how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off.
What is an ONLINE LEARNING Class:
Upon signing up for the class, you will receive a handout, giving you a list of materials needed and including a link to a private playlist of YouTube videos exclusive to students of this class. Read through this handout, do any homework noted in the “Homework” section, then take your time watching and studying the videos. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me. Then, on the date and time specified above, I will send you a link to a private Zoom chat with me and everyone else who registered for this class. This is your chance to get one-on-one clarification on anything, show me your work, etc.
NOTE: These video chat sessions may be recorded and shared with any student who is unable to attend the zoom chat.
